Dante first picked up a camera while playing college baseball—what began as a curiosity quickly became a lifelong passion for visual storytelling and connecting people through content.
Born and raised in Bellingham, WA, and now based in Seattle’s Ballard neighborhood, Dante blends creative direction with digital marketing expertise. A Cambodian-American and the son of a refugee, his work is deeply rooted in resilience and community. After earning his Bachelor’s in Business Management from Western Washington University, he built a career at the intersection of media and strategy—editing music videos, leading SEO campaigns, and working with artists like Travis Thompson, Sam Lachow, and TeZATalks. As a Videographer & Digital Strategist at Joyco, Dante brings a rare mix of technical skill and creative vision. Whether he’s directing a brand shoot or optimizing a YouTube campaign, his ability to connect strategy with storytelling helps clients grow with intention. For Dante, creative work is a tool for healing, connection, and visibility—especially for underrepresented stories. He’s passionate about creating content that resonates and drives real-world impact. Outside of work, you can find Dante playing basketball, crate-digging for new music, or making spontaneous road trips back to Bellingham to create with his hometown crew.
